High ambitions and
exceptional craftmanship

A life dedication to develop and contributing to craft.

My name is Lara Reisigl Domeneghetti, I have a broad education spanning 12 years in the fine arts and traditional handcrafts, beginning my journey as a decorative painter and sculptural woodcarver in Italy in 2007.
I did my BA in Drawing in Germany and an MA in Visual Arts and Post Graduate Diploma in Historical Carving in London, where I researched Medieval Scandinavian Art and produced a 1:1 replica of the Tylldal chair.

My research has been published in both English and Norwegian, and I am regularly invited to lecture and demonstrate her craft at schools and museums internationally.

My work has been acquired by both museums and private collectors, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally as part of projects that celebrate craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and the dialogue between past and present.

Now based in Norway, I combines hands-on making with cultural and philosophical inquiry, exploring not only how objects are made but why they matter.
